We had an issue with our awning and immediately contacted Matt Reeder with photos. He contacted the company and informed us that the company was making a new awning for us. Even though it took a while to get it made and shipped,we are happy to say it was installed today. The 2 men who installed were very professional and kind. I thank Matt for all the help he provided us in getting this rectified so that we could enjoy this summer. We know he went out of his way to make this right. I purchased very expensive replacement fabric for my Sunsetter awning, and Weather Armor was supposed to install it tonight. They are now 30 minutes late, and I haven’t heard from them. To make matters worse, I can’t call because nobody ever answers the phone. I’m beyond frustrated. UPDATE: Once I finally connected with the Weather Armor installers, I was impressed. They were quick and professional. We use our awning daily, and we’re very satisfied.

I LOVE my motorized retractable Sunsetter awning, even more than I thought I would! Not only is the awning better quality than I expected, but it really makes my patio feel like an outdoor living space! The ordering and installation processes were quick and easy. Weather Armor installed a retractable awning in the summer of 2019. We had to take it down to have the entire roof replaced. This Spring with the business restrictions we did not know how long it would take to get it reinstalled. They responded quickly to our calls and their expert installers had it back up and functioning in a few hours. It is a great and sturdy install now that the roof is new. Last night we had trouble with our remote with the awning down. We were concerned and left a message at the office at almost 9 pm. Did not expect to hear back but Matt Reeder called me from home (bless you!) and we quickly resolved the remote issue on the phone. Thanks so much to Matt and his entire team. LOVE OUR AWNING!!!

From our first encounter to the installation today, every aspect of our relationship has been top notch. After we lost a large tree that shaded our entire patio we lost the ability to enjoy the space anytime after noon till sunset. Looked at several brand but decided on the highest quality SunSetter. Had to wait for delivery but customer service kept us advised and in the end, moved our installation ahead by two days. The installers were efficient and super helpful. About 3 years ago, Weather Armor installed new gutters and "guttergloves" around the house. This year we discovered water in basement coming from a separation in the gutter seams, creating a mini waterfall. When contacted, Weather Armor was very responsive (only asking one question) and quickly scheduled an appointment, at no cost, to come out and inspect and/or repair. They came earlier than scheduled, but it all worked out. The service guy was great. It has rained a couple times since, and it appears the problem is solved (fingers crossed). This day and age, it is rare to find a business who still provides quality service after they have already been paid!!

We have had our awning for a few months. It has made such a difference in how much time we spend in our back yard in the hot summer evenings. We also use it to keep the kitchen cool when we are cooking and the afternoon sun is usually shining through the window. What we really love the most though is how nice it makes the back yard look & how easy it is to use. Even my teens use it when we are not home. Also the whole staff at Weather Armor are wonderful from the first sales call to the follow up after installation! Thanks for selling such a great product 😊

We have had our motorized retractable awning almost 4 years and love it! It has made our patio a great place to be outside and out of the heat finally! But besides that this company has been so helpful even now. Whenever we have a question or any concern Matt takes care of us. I have given the company name to several friends and family that admire our awning. A very honest company to work with. I highly recommend this company.

I absolutely love the product and the installation went well. The guys had to problem solve in order to install and they did a wonderful job! The only complaint I had is that the flyers that were sent to me included some free products and then when I ordered I found that I did not qualify because I had a freestanding unit. I would’ve liked to had the lights and the motion sensor and the gas grill. But again I want to emphasize how much I love my Sunsetter!

We have a lakeside house which faces West, and afternoon sun can be quite uncomfortable. We decided to have the Sun Setter sales rep.come to "convince" us that their awnings are the "answer". Chad came and gave a very nice product presentation without pressure . We were convinced and called him back shortly and placed the order. The awning installers Chad(not the previous one) and his brother Brad were very careful and installed our retractible awning in about an hour. Finally had a couple of sunny, hot days and found the awning to be a blessing! My husband who was originally skeptical said it was a wonderful investment! YEA!!

Just had our awning installed yesterday and I can already tell this will be my favorite outdoor space! What a game changer! Back patio faces east so the sun was brutal until well after noon. We got the pro with the sunshade and it’s perfect. I’ve been sitting out this evening enjoying the view as the rain stops and the sun comes out. Love it!

The installation went okay; I was a little disappointed that I have to go online and find my owners manual and warranty information. I have not been able to find it. I was also disappointed that the electric cable wasn't long enough to make it look like a nice finish so I had to order another electric cable so I can fix it. For the amount of money we paid, we should not have had to pay additional to have it look correctly. Nice product, but disappointing finish. It isn't the kind of customer service I would expect. We have friends looking for a similar product and I have to give them a guarded recommendation.

The SunSetter Awning was installed 2-3 weeks earlier than we were expecting which was great... The installer (Chad) & his assistant did a great job getting it installed in about 2.5 hours. Before leashing, Chad went over the operation & also pointed out some things in the manual. So far we are totally happy with everything & waiting for some better weather so we can begin enjoying it more.

the installation was okay. we were disappointed that the electtic cable wasn't long enough for a nice finished look so we had to order a replacement cable. for the money we paid, we shouldn't have had to order a part just to make it look right. it is also a nuisance to have to find the owners manual and warranty information online. I find this to be poor customer service for over $5500 purchase.

This review is long overdue. After cleaning our gutters for the many years after our build in 1972, we decided that it was time to replace the spouting and buy a gutter covering. That was in March of 2011. We did our due diligence and obtained three estimates using the Better Business Bureau as a guide. Your company, while it wasn't the lowest, was in our minds the best. We have had the gutter guards for a little over 8 years now and each time I go up on the roof, I check the gutters and I've never had to worry about cleaning anything off the gutter guards. The peace of mind is well worth the price. We have rarely purchased a product that has lived up to its name like your product has. We are most appreciative and highly recommend!

Failure to communicate. Aft release from hospital the cranking of awning was too much. We decided to upgrade to motorized version. When I called to make arrangements I was not informed it was my responsibility to contact the company and order the motor. 6 weeks went by and I contacted Weather Tech again to find out the delay and was informed that I have to place the order. Nice. Another 10 days went by. The only saving grace was the crew showed up on time and did a nice job with cleanup. Here it is the middle of Oct. and we will not be able to enjoy the awning until next spring. I expected more and was disappointed. Upgrade installation of motor.

We have had some bad experiences with other vendors recently, so Weather Armor was a real breath of fresh air. From the sales call through the installation, we couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Everyone was very friendly and personable. We requested a contact for installation of a Sunsetter Awning. Was called by Matt on the following day, which was a Sunday, to set up an appointment for someone to come out on Tuesday. I received a visit from their rep, Chad, who went over everything with me and gave me a price on the spot. Since my wife and I work different shifts, Chad agreed to come out the next Saturday afternoon with fabric selections for both of use to see before finalizing everything. We ended up ordering the largest Sunsetter Awning that is made, which is 20' wide and extends out 12'. Within about two weeks, our awning arrived in their stock and they came out the following Monday for installation. A crew of two guys arrived earlier than I expected and finished installation within two hours. The lead guy gave me some instruction on the operation and care of the awning before he left. All Weather Armor personnel were very professional and gave good communication. They also did not require any down payment for their work - they requested to be paid in full once the job was completed. Amazing from start to finish. Matt the owner came out to show us our options. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy at all. We explained our occasional high winds and he assured us that the motion detector would works and quickly. 2 weeks after instillation we had an unexpected wind storm and as I start to panic looking for the remote to pull in the awning it closed itself. Also of note, the 2 gentlemen that came to install were very professional, friendly and efficient. Very good product and great people! I couldn't be happier! We wanted to purchase a retractable awning for our back deck. Due to high winds we needed something that would also have a motion detector to retract automatically.

Called Matt on Wednesday and he had Chad come to our house on Friday. Chad came to our house found the problem and repaired it. Chad was very thorough (he even found another issue with a front gutter and he was on time (actually arrived ahead of schedule). Thank you for your quick response and Chad's professionalism. Update on previous review. I posted a update earlier but must have been lost. Accidentally called Matt, I hung up the phone I thought before it rang. Matt called me back and said he was sending Cory out to look at our problem. Cory came out on time. Started to repair the problem, when it started to rain. Cory saw the rain flowing over the new gutter guards. Said he would talk to Matt about installing an additional downspout to solve the problem. Cory told me he would call in the morning, then come out to our house. Next morning Cory called and said he got the ok from Matt and he would be right out an install the new downspout. Cory did a very nice job with the downspout, plus he installed 2 deflectors. Saturday, August 27, there was a brief but heavy rain. The downspout and deflectors worked perfectly. Cory and Matt I believe wanted us to be happy, and my wife and I are. The downspout was added at no additional charge. Adjustment to gutter guards

Matt came to the house. He was on time. We talked on our back porch. I liked him. Found him very personable. We ordered the gutter guards for our gutters. Said it would be approximately 2 weeks before installation. Maybe after a week went by I got a call, they could install the gutter guards on July 5th. The 2 man crew was polite and went about their work in a professional manner. They installed the gutters on the front of the house, around the garage, and around the back porch. One of the young men came to the door and said they would do the back of the house first thing the next morning. They couldn't complete the job the first day because they needed a taller ladder. To be fair, no money had been paid for their work. They didn't show up the next day. After 2 weeks went by I called Matt. He didn't know the work wasn't completed. He sent the same crew over to our house the next day or two. The work was completed, and I gave them a check. It had been very dry, didn't know how well the gutter guards worked. When it finally did rain, water just poured over the gutter and new gutter guards onto the patio. I called Matt, he sent out his repairman. The repairman said the first crew should have put something up, forget the name, to keep the water from flowing over. He didn't have a large enough piece on his truck to do the job. Said may take a couple days for the part to arrive in their shop. It has been two weeks since then. Tried to call Matt again. My call has not been returned. Very disappointing. UPDATE: When it rained hard on August 27, the downspout and deflectors worked perfectly. Cory did a wonderful job. I believe Cory and the owner Matt wanted us to be satisfied, my wife and I are satisfied. The work was done at no additional cost to us Installed gutter guards on all the gutters on our house. UPDATE: They came out when they said they would, installed an additional downspout, and 2 deflectors.

I already own an awning but it was having problems and so I called Weather Armor to come out and service it. I did have to call a couple times to reach someone but once I spoke to someone they came out the very next morning and had it fixed and working in less than an hour. The service guy was very polite and very knowledgeable. It is very hard to find someone to fix your awning because most companies only install them, and this was the only company I could find in Columbus that would come out and fix it. So glad my awning is working again!

I had purchased a SunSetter from COSTCO with the intention of performing the install myself. After some consideration I decided to have someone else perform the install. I looked on Angies List and found Weather Armor. They had good scores so I called and made an appointment for the install. On the original install date the weather was rainy and with high winds. They called before coming out and rescheduled to the next day due to the weather conditions. The installed showed up a little before the scheduled time and work steadily until the installation was complete. The installers were knowledgeable and answered any questions I asked. They did a really good job with the install and I am complete satisfied with their work. They also fully explained the functions and how to used/reprogrammm the remote. I highly would recommend them if anyone were to ask if I knew someone who installed or sold awnings. Install SunSetter Awining purchased at COSTCO.

We had a Sunsetter 14x12 awning installed over our patio July 15 2015. Everything went perfect! our sales rep came and measured our patio and made a size recommendation. We went with the 14x12 and we had many color samples to chose from. We chose the color wheat to match our house color. It took 2 weeks for our awning to arrive and the installers completed the install in just over an hour. They answered all our questions and showed us how to operate the remote control. Both Brandon and Cory were very prompt to find my problem I was having. Even though it ended up not being a problem with my gutter guards they installed 3 years ago. They found the problem and told me what I needed to do to get this problem corrected. I would highly recommend weather armor and there great service. Thank you!

Overall the experience with weather armor has been great. The original installation was done very well and I had left my awning out and the rain had broke it. So we had to have new arms and a fabric put on but the guys were always very professional. I am very pleased with the service we have received and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

The owner came to my home to give me an estimate. He was very informative and did not push to sell me more than what I wanted. He measured and showed me color samples and discussed the possibilities. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get the awning once the order had been made. It was exactly two weeks, he called, and the two man crew came out the next day and it was installed in about 30 minutes. They worked together well and cleaned up everything afterwards. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and love my new awning! Although some people install awnings themselves, I am so glad I paid to have it professionally installed--no fuss, no muss! Arrived on scheduled date. Installed awning with skill and knowledge. Cleaned up after install. Install took a couple of hours. Explained operation clearly and completely. Matt did the estimate a few weeks earlier. Had samples and suggestions and helped lead us to a good choice of fabric, placement and size of awning. Weather Armor installed an awning the year before on our neighbor's house. We got Matt's name and number from the neighbor with a statement that he was impressed with Weather Armor company. It's been fine. A couple of gutter guards have blown off in some of the higher winds we had earlier in the spring. We probably need to contact them again. They were very honest with us. We had got some gutter guard stuff from someone else and they explained to us the reason there was problem with it. They said that they could put that on for us and explained the issues that we were going to run into. They ran through the options very well. There was no pressure taking up anything. They did well. Weather Armor repaired the gutters and put the guard guards.

I had a good experience with them. I had no problems. The only thing was that they didn't paint the end caps on the gutters so I called them back, and they did come back and correct the problem. I recommend them. I am satisfied with the product. It took a couple of days before they could come out from the date they promised. I used Weather Armor for gutter services 5-6 weeks ago.

From the beginning, this was a first class operation. The owner, Matt, came to my home to give me an estimate. He was extremely low pressure and his product and prices were the best I had seen. I was willing to pay more to get the Gutter Glove system, but it turned out to be more reasonable than the next leading competitor. In the course of our discussion, he gave me a total cost on the job, to include new gutters and downspouts. I had planned on having someone else do this, but the price and the prospect of having one contractor do all of the job made me give Weather Armor the whole job. On install day, the crew ran into unexpected traffic on the Interstate, and Matt called me to make me aware of the delay. The two gentlemen who came to do the installation, could not have been more professional or more competent. The job was perfect in every way and the workmanship was absolutely beautiful. They worked diligently in very harsh weather to accomplish this job. It was a pleasure having them work on my home. I can recommend Matt, Gutter Glove and the entire Weather Armor company without reservation. They are some of the best craftsmen I have ever had work on my home. I am very happy with the product, and the installation. Matt Reader was very punctual to give estimate. Ihad reviewed the product 10 years ago and decided then that it was superior to their competition. However at that time, I decided to install gutter guards myself using a product from a catalog. The product I installed did a fair job of keeping leaves and maple seeds out of the gutters, however, not the granules from the roof shingles. The roof shingle granules consistently clogged the gutters. Roof shingle granules do not penetrate the extremely fine stainless steel mesh on the Weather Armor gutter guards.

They came on time and got the job done. The owner of the company told me that the awing will be delivered at the end of the month and call me earlier and got the awing installed. The LED lights work wonderful. Could not ask for a better company!! Would HIGHLY recommended this company to all my friends and family. Put and awing over the deck to keep it cooler!!

The sales rep called me back within minutes of submitting an email request for quote, answered all my questions quickly, and was right on time for our in-home appointment. He very clearly explained and demonstrated both their top of the line product and their second-tier solution. As we did not plan to be in the house for too many more years, we opted for the less expensive product. The installation was scheduled for later in the week, and the installers both called and arrived when they said they would. They offered again to explain how the product worked and asked if I had any questions about the materials, the installation process or the warranty - before starting any work. They were thorough, quick and neat, although I did find a couple of cigarette butts and a forgotten hammer after they left. I was surprised at both, as I watched them police the yard with magnets and by hand, picking up any scraps or refuse. I have been very happy with the company and their products, and will have them out shortly to install the top-end product on my new home. We agreed to do the work and he hit all the marks for punctuality, professionalism and clean-up. We have no issues whatsoever with Weather Armor. he did what he said he was going to do. The great thing is, all aeasons that we look at our gutters, we haven't ha dto have them clean and it's so nice because it seems nature takes care of it, you don't end up with little trees growing out of out gutters. He came first and talked to us about our needs, we had lots and lots of trees and we saw his ad on Channel 4 with Gale Hogan who does a new show with advertised sponsors, my father called to him and he came to our home and solve our situation was with the gutters. He has his product that he showed my dad and we had it installed.

Everyone we dealt with at this company was prompt and professional. The job was done as promised, when promised. Chad installed our guttercovers. He was on time, professional, performed the service quickly and did a great job of installing the coversand cleaning up afterwards. We couldn't be more pleased with Chad and Weather Armor. Chad of Weather Armor installed gutter covers to keep the leaves out of our gutters.

We set up an appointment to have an estimate made for the cost of installing a product that would prevent our gutters from clogging up with leaves. We were given details of the products available on the market including the Weather Armor product. An estimate was calculated during the time the salesperson was in our home. Two days later the Weather Armor product was installed within a few hours. We were provided with a lifetime guarantee (transferable upon sale of our home) that we will NEVER have to clean out our gutters again. My husband is thrilled that he will not be climbing ladders to clean out clogged gutters. Our gutters were cleaned, reinforced, put on appropriate angles to ensure drainage and Weather Armor was added to prevent clogging with leaves and other debris.

Team of guys came out and replaced the old gutters with new ones and installed the gutter glove system. Installers were very nice guys, worked hard and efficiently. Cleaned up after themselves and were friendly and professional. Removed old gutters and replaced them with new gutters and gutter glove.

On 9/12/13, Weather Armor's installers were at our home on time. the installation took only about 2 hours and the job site was neat and clean when they left. The installers were very professional and we appreciated their punctuality. Wea re very pleased with the product and the way it looks on the house. In response to a TV promotion I saw for an awning and a special Weather Armor was offering, I called for an estimate after I found that the company was listed on Angie's List. Two days later, we had an on-site estimate. We also appreciated the suggestions for options they offered and the color choices they suggested would look best. Less than three weeks later, we had our awning!

I met with Matt a couple weeks ago, and I explained that I wanted a Sun Setter awning to go with my newly renovated patio. He listened carefully and quoted me a cost which I accepted. He promised that the awning would be ready in a couple weeks. Today I got a call saying it was ready and his installer Chad came out right away to put it up. It only took about an hour or so, and now it is gorgeous out there! I love the Sun Setter! No more messing with an umbrella and a heavy stand! Overall, I am very pleased with how fast everything went, and everything was delivered and installed just as promised! They installed a 13X10 motorized Sun Setter awning over my patio. The price included the winter cover, wind sensor, and installation.

The owner (Matt) responded quickly to our request for a quote, and was knowledgeable about various options. He was also very personable. The installation was completed in a timely manner (the same day the awning arrive at Weather Armor) and was well done. The installer (Chad) was competent, experienced, and persnickety, as well as friendly. He took time, too, to discuss how to address some problems that might arise down the road (e.g., change in height of the extender arms), and how to adjust the setting on the wind-guard feature. The company gave an estimate in the spring but for reasons of patio repairs we could not install the awning until the fall. In November the workmen arrived on time and completed the installation in about 5 hours. The awning works fine and has changed the way we use the patio in the summer. The retractable feature is handy because we open and close the awning once a day as sunlight changes.After installation we noticed that the electrical wire was a little too short (it stuck out from the corner of the house andour grandson could have yanked on it) and a few days later they installed a longer cord. We had a deck that was hot all of the time from full-day sunlight. Saw a commercial on t.v. about SunSetter awnings. Decided to investigate it further. We contacted the representative (Matt Reeder)and discussed the need to reduce the heat and all-day sunshine on our deck. Matt showed us information of the awnings his company carries. He assessed our deck issues and recommended a SunSetter awning for the deck. We ordered the product through him. As promised, about 2 weeks later we were advised that the awning ordered for our deck was received. Matt made arrangements for Chad to come out and install the product. Chad clearly knew his installation methods. He was great on communicating maintenance recommendations and operational information about the product. He was well trained, punctual, professional and time effective. The product, as installed, has been great in the short time we have had it. It has dropped the temperature of our deck considerably and we have enjoyed eating on the deck again. Delivered a SunSetter awning that we ordered through Weather Armor. Installed awning.

It took 2 weeks for the order to be delivered and 1 day (4 hours) for their installers(2) to put it up. The electrical connection was a separate visit by another team (2) a week later. About a month later, the awning developed a vibration problem when being rolled-out and the wind sensor would respond by automatically rolling it back in. Weather Armor sent the installers out within a few days and they found a factory assembly problem where a seam was resting on a support. They moved the support a few inches and now it works flawlessly. We love it! It keeps the house cooler and allows us to use our porch and patio even in sunny conditions. Weather Armor ordered & installed a retractable Sun Setter awning (20' wide by 12' deep) for a western facing patio and screened porch area. It includes a quiet motor to roll-out and roll-in, a remote control to activate the motor, and a wind sensor to automatically retract the awning in windy conditions. They also connected the motor to our house circuitry to avoid have a plug connection outside.

Matt is a really nice guy. He was punctual and honest. He delivered his services as expected and timely. Everything seems to be working as promised. Prior to our estimate with Matt, we had an estimate with Leaf Filter. They are horribly deceptive with their pricing. So glad we found found Weather Armor. Matt Reeder came and explained the different options for retractable awnings. He helped us to pick out the color that would go best with our home. He gave us his estimate and we decided to accept it. The awning was $3258 and the Gutter Glove was $800. Two hundred dollars of the cost of the awning went towards a wind sensor. If I forget and leave the awning extended while I am not on the deck, this sensor will automatically close the awning if the wind gets too strong. This is important because wind can damage the arms of the awning. Three weeks later 2 men came and put on the 12' by 10' Sunsetter Motorized Awning as well as the Gutter Glove. It only took them about 3 hours. They cleaned up the area before leaving and showed me how to operate the awning. I love this awning. I am sitting under it now. It is dark enough for me to see my IPad while in its shade! (we got the black fabric called Blackberry). In the past I could not enjoy the deck when it was sunny. The current temperature is in the upper 70s and I am very comfortable. I had considered putting in a screened in porch on the deck, but that would have made the dining room dark during the winter. With this awning I have the best of both worlds, shade when it is hot and sun during the winter. I am very happy with the Sunsetter Awning and with the work done by Weather Armor. I wanted a retractable awning over our deck. My husband wanted gutter protection for the gutters on the back of the house.
